It is a film about radical therapeutic film.  As the Chief of Diagnostic  Medicine, Gregory House is rather different from other doctors. He is so strange, likes to use Vicodin to control his pain stemming from a leg infarction. 

Sometimes he is rather rough to his patients while he meets them, but his diagnostic is so sharp and good. It makes his friends appreciate him so well.

For medical students, you can take more  lessons about how to diagnose the patients. You can take the important things in this film. 

Besides, this film is different from the other medical drama films which are full of romantic scenes. It is so serious film.
